The project scope encompassed the installation of both mechanical and electrical systems to improve functionality and energy efficiency. This was a multi-million pound M&E project delivered in the space of 10 weeks for our client R G Carter, creating new DEFRA and UK Border Force inspection facilities. It was a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week operation where colleagues and subcontractors sacrificed what would be lots of their free time, to ensure the project was delivered in the required timeframe and to a high standard. The project was executed with remarkable agility, necessitating an accelerated timeline to meet stringent government-imposed deadlines. Every aspect of planning and execution had to be finely tuned to maximise efficiency and productivity. We always make a conscious effort to be non-combative and user friendly as possible.
