Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship

This programme is for those who are currently working or looking to work in the Heating and Ventilation industry and who wish to study for a qualification that is recognised by the construction industry.
Full/Part-time: Apprenticeship (Full Time)

The course covers the knowledge and skills required to achieve a career in installing building services and associate skills.

This role involves carrying out installations, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and decommissioning of large-scale engineering systems which are used for heating workplaces such as industrial and commercial building, i.e. office blocks, schools and hospitals.

The Building Services Engineering Craftsperson at Level 3 has been developed based on learner and employer needs and has been designed by employers for learners wishing to gain an apprenticeship in building services.

Entry Requirements

  • English and maths GCSEs at a minimum of grade 4 (C) or equivalent
