On behalf of James’ Team, I acknowledge receipt of £8000, funds raised at the 2026 Valentines Ball last month. This incredible sum marks a massive turning point for the charity. We are so close now to achieving our goal to provide all Year 7 students who attend Copleston in September 2026 with their copy of You Are Awesome. Once all the orders have been received and the books delivered, we will have achieved this! With the addition of the funds raised from the Ball, we will be able to secure the Copleston model and hopefully now look to extend further.
With every book we give, we also engage a school. And this is very exciting, because as the school comes on board, we have the opportunity to work together and develop the key themes of the book in a way that is relevant to the children. By bringing the book to life, the impact is even greater!
It is difficult to truly express my gratitude to you and what this means for James’ Team. I am in awe of the work you do within the community, building connections, supporting and enabling, to make a real difference. Communities become stronger because of the level of collaboration you bring. You are amazing! My sincerest of thanks to you from James’ Team.
