Mechanical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage mechanical services packages on large commercial projects from inception to completion
• Take full ownership of project delivery including programme, cost control, quality and health & safety
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, main contractors and internal delivery teams
• Manage subcontractors, procurement and material scheduling
• Oversee commissioning, snagging and final handover
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification
• Produce regular progress reports and attend project meetings

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E / building services sector
• Experience delivering commercial projects, ideally with values up to £5m
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services (HVAC, pipework, plant, etc)
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience

Desirables:

• Relevant mechanical or building services qualification
• SMSTS / CSCS (or willingness to obtain)
