What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Delivering large commercial projects on time and within budget. Most recent achievements are working on Homerton College Dining Hall, Clare College Phase 1 B Old Court, Port of Felixstowe Inspection Facility, Gullwing Lowestoft, upgrades and refurbishments within the NHS. 

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – Working at DPL is a pleasure, we have a great team and working environment.

When did you start working for DPL? – I joined DPL Group in February 2016

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Delivering Melbourn Primary School Extension as my First Project as an Electrical Project Manager on time and on Budget

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – The Atmosphere within the office and the support from my colleagues when needed

When did you start working for DPL? – I joined the DPL team in February 2015 as a Senior Craftsman. Progressed on to Site Supervisor in 2017 before moving into the office as a Mechanical Project Engineer in May 2019.

What are three key responsibilities within your job role? –

1. Managing Projects from design, through to completion and handover.
2. Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard.
3. Completing the project within budget and on programme.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – The projects: The Maharishi Training Centre. Colchester Sports & Rugby Club. Vehicle Inspection Facility at the Port of Felixstowe.

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – DPL has a great team and a good work ethic.

What are three key responsibilities within your job role? –

1. Coordinating & managing mechanical designs
2. Providing mechanical design input into schemes
3. Supporting the estimating department with new project enquiries providing initial concepts to schemes. 

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Having the opportunity so far within my career to work on a variety of projects/ schemes that have provided a profound benefit to the local communities and environment.  My proudest moment is working on a national exemplar project seeing this through the design and construction stages and seeing this project overall become a reality.

What are three key responsibilities within your job role? –

1. Management & production of 2D drawings & 3D Revit Models. 
2. Keep up to date with relevant standards applicable to my job role. 
3. Collate & coordinate Subcontractors’ drawings & model information to ensure a workable solution is met.  

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Producing coordinated Revit models for both the Port Of Felixstowe & Harwich Port in a very short time frame

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Getting a distinction in my level 3 building services course at City of Westminster College

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – The variety and fast-paced nature of the projects which are ever changing from job to job

When did you start working for DPL? – July 2024

What are three responsibilities within your job role? – 

1. To assist the Commercial & Procurement Manager with all ordering within the contacts department
2. Producing Purchase Orders and ensuring all goods are purchased at the most completive prices
3. Investigating any invoice issues and ensuring goods are returned and credits are received.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – I passed my bookkeeping exams and was given the opportunity to be entrusted with the responsibility of running the financial side of several small businesses over the past decade. But am now looking forward to a new challenge and transferring some of those skills into the world of M & E Procurement.

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – The work environment and culture within the business is relaxed but professional, allowing its staff to grow and progress.

What are three responsibilities within your job role? – 

1. Learning how to manage Projects from design, through to completion.
2. Assist with the completion of projects and ensure they are to a high standard.
3. Completing the project within budget and on programme.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – I am fortunate enough to have studied and completed A-Level History and double BTEC Engineering during my time at sixth form.

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – I enjoy the work environment and how everyone that I have interacted with is willing to help and guide me to improve my ability.

2. Supervising engineers (arranging the work, ordering materials and making sure the work is delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner).
3. NICEIC Electrical Qualified Supervisor for the department.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – The journey of working hard from an electrical apprentice on-site to an Electrical Supervisor.

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – Good working conditions with support when required. I also feel really appreciated and a valued team member

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – completing a new dining hall at the prestigious Homerton College in Cambridge 

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – I enjoy the fact there is scope to progress within the company, which I have recently done from site into the office.

What are three key responsibilities within your job role? –

1. Inspect works carried out by our company to ensure compliance with current building regulations
2. Inspect all certifications to ensure full compliance with current building regulations 
3. Assist engineers with guidance to maintain the high level of quality we aim to achieve across all aspects of our services.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Successfully achieving the 2391-52 Initial & periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations course.

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – Working with a great team of people that is enjoyable whilst aiming towards achieving my ambition.

When did you start working for DPL? – I joined DPL in April 2025

What are three key responsibilities within your job role? –

1. Quoting small works jobs and supporting the engineers.
2. Working with the client and advising them to ensure we meet their expectations in all the work that we do.
3. Organising work for the engineers and seeing the works through from start to finish.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Working within the Facilities business for 30 plus years, I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge within the industry, I am proud of the work I have done as part of a wider team in completing projects over this time and working closely with the clients to advise and support them.

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – I have only been working for DPL for only a short time, but soon realised what a positive and supporting environment it is to work in. They are a great team and have a great culture and positive way of working.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Progression from electrical apprentice to my current role, forming many friendships with colleagues and clients along the way.

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – The welcoming nature of everyone in the group since my arrival.

What are three responsibilities within your job role? –

1. Supporting and working in close collaboration with the Facilities Management extended team to successfully deliver the newly awarded service and maintenance contract for Vertas Group
2. Offering flexible support to department managers as required to meet operational needs
3. Ensuring that our systems and procedures are aligned to effectively support a culture of continuous improvement

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – With 18 years of experience in the facilities management industry, I’ve gained extensive knowledge and insight through continuous learning and hands-on involvement across various roles. I take great pride not only in the expertise I’ve developed over the years but also in the balance I maintain daily as a dedicated working mum, pursuing ongoing career growth. I’m motivated by my children and strive to set an example of the value of hard work and dedication

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – The people and culture of the company are truly a breath of fresh air. Being part of such a supportive and positive environment makes it easier to perform well and take pride in the work we do

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Working as a qualified healthcare assistant at the hospital and being able to transfer the skills into other careers.

1. Ensure PPMs are running smoothly

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Passing two levels of AAT accounting 

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – The working environment and friendly family atmosphere in the DPL office where support is always on hand

1. I am the point of contact for booking appointments

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – Working in a great team, who all help each other, the atmosphere is so nice, dealing with a variety of people inside and out of the company

What are three responsibilities within your job role? –

1. First point of contact for all reactive call outs.
2. Scheduling works with engineers and sites
3. Liaising with clients for reactive related queries

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – I am most proud of travelling abroad alone to teach English for 3 years.

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – I feel supported and appreciated for what I do here at DPL.  The atmosphere and people also are great fun to work with, alongside being professional and hard working.

1. Ensuring all PPMs are carried out within the KPI

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Meeting KPIs monthly gives me a sense of pride.

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – The team. They have been very welcoming, friendly and supportive since joining DPL.

What are three key aspects/responsibilities within your job role? – Organising engineer’s work, assisting the day-to-day running of the department, and providing regular support for all departmental clients. 

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – completing the ILM Level 3 management award. 

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – I enjoy the team that I work with and always have further opportunities to grow and progress my role within the company.

1. Managing the day to day activities within the Solar department.

2. Supervising domestic and commercial installations.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Becoming a leader within a large department responsible for all solar installations.

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – I really enjoy being part of the large operation DPL have become. Although they have grown significantly during my time here, I still feel the company holds their traditional values.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Being part of an estimating team that has helped secure a number of high-profile projects and achieving an HNC Diploma in construction and the built environment (Building Services Engineering).

1. Calculate the costs of a project at the tender stage, this requires me to carry out take-offs
2. Analyse specifications and communicate with the client and sub-contractors

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Receiving a Perfect Delivery Award from Morgan Sindall on my first independently run project within the Engineering department.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Achieving an overall distinction in a Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering at West Suffolk College.

What are three responsibilities within your job role? –

1. Support the business in all aspects of safety, Quality and Environmental to ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation.
2. Creation and implementation of organisational safety guidelines, accident investigation and performing audits to ensure compliance
3. Provide competent advice and guidance to all personnel within the business to make it a safer environment and promote a culture of safety in the workplace

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – 23 years of experience in safety:  I have had many accomplishments, but the standout one for me is changing the safety culture within businesses and making a safer environment that sends everyone home every day.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Qualified vehicle technician rising to group aftersales manager roles within the motor trade at franchised main dealers, I also hold a European transport manager CPC qualification

What are three responsibilities within your job role? – 

1. Developing and producing content for the whole group to grow their online presence.
2. Collaborating with others to maintain brand consistency and ensure the accuracy of content aligns perfectly with the goals of the strategy.
3. Create high-quality, original content for the group to use on our various social media platforms.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of? – Aiding in the renovation of the new website, providing content along the way and learning the CMS to take it over. Also learning a whole new sector and becoming a trainee solar designer at the same time.

What do you enjoy most about working for DPL? – Bubbly, family atmosphere in the office partnered with the driven attitude of highly skilled employees creating a growing yet supportive environment.
